Surtal Arts is an official Arts Award Centre! Having trained advisers in all levels, we offer a range of opportunities, expertise and resources to support young people through all aspects of their Arts Award. Arts Award aspires to support any young person to enjoy the arts and develop creative leadership skills. This year we will be delivering Arts Award to around 15 young people.
WHAT IS ARTS AWARD?
Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification awarded to commited young people 11-25 who want to deepen their engagement with the arts and build creative and leadership skills. The qualification is great for CVs and comes attached to upto 35 UCAS points!
Through Arts Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels, young people aged 11-25 can explore any of the art forms including performing arts, visual arts, literature, media and multimedia. The award builds confidence, helps young people to enjoy cultural activities, and prepares them for further education or employment.
