We believe the arts play a vital role in children’s education and personal development.
At Surtal, our comprehensive yet selective database of extensively experienced artists specialising in South Asian arts means that the delivery of specifically-tailored school workshops are of the highest quality in colourful creativity, cultural awareness and meeting the National Curriculum in Key Stages including GCSE. Surtal is now seen as a key provider of arts workshops amongst schools, colleges and youth clubs in the community.
Schools can become a member of ‘South Asian Arts In Education Forum’ (SAAEF) which is set up to give the schools a voice to influence the work of Surtal in education.
We have qualified Arts Award advisers, and our activities can contribute to Arts Award qualifications in participating schools. If you would like to book a workshop or residency in your school or youth group, please contact Surtal Arts (Cost of workshops vary from £75 to £300).
