      Arts in Health

Surtal Asian Arts was commissioned by Derby City PCT to produce a community bilingual drama ‘Gurh Nalo Ishq Mitha’ (Love is sweeter than Sugar) in Panjabi and English which would engage and include the participation of local people and empower them to learn, share knowledge and raise awareness of type 2 diabetes amongst the South Asian community in Derby in an entertaining, informative and memorable manner, through the medium of theatre.
