Bring a bit of magical light in this autumn as we invite you to join our artist, Kate Doncaster, to create your own lantern using biodegradable materials including willow and tissue paper.

 

We will make beautiful traditional willow lanterns and at some venues we will make Diwali and Chinese themed lanterns. Please take a look below and make sure you are booked at the right venue to make your choice of lantern.

 

All the lanterns will be suitable to lit with energy-efficient LED lights (not included with the ticket price) and will be held up on bamboo sticks.  No lanterns will be released into the air.

 

Finished lanterns can be carried triumphantly in the Derby Lantern Parade on 12th November.
