Shisha embroidery is most common on the Indian subcontinent (Rajasthan). This type of embroidery lends a sparkling appearance to the brightly coloured clothes worn in the region, and is very popular for use on clothing, hangings, tapestries, and domestic textiles.
Artist Ranbir Kaur will take you through steps on how to create your own framed picture using fabric paint and shisa (mirror) embroidery which becomes the central part of your design. You will be able to take a framed picture home of your creation.
