Over the years Bollywood movies have developed their own signature style of song and dance, which combines the rich texture of India's many classical and folk dances, fused with elements of Jazz, Hip – Hop, Arabic, street dance and Latin Forms.  With dramatic facial expressions, cinematic elements, and a lot of cardio, it's no wonder the Bollywood dance craze is catching on across the globe.

This Bollywood Dance class is part of our ‘Arts in Health’ project call Roshni (Light).  With financial support from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are shining a light on our mental health and wellbeing through dance.  Whether you prefer solo dancing or being involved in a more formalized and choreographed program, dancing offers obvious plusses to your physical health.  You’re not only moving your body in a rhythmic way and expressing feelings. You’re burning calories and getting a workout for sure.

Come and join our Bollywood dance class whether you just want to learn for fun or get a workout or make new friends or perform at your family wedding or a special occasion.  Why not start with our taster session on 9th March  and then if you like it, you can block book further 5 sessions!
