About the Event

Join in the workshop and create your own rangoli design on a tile using rice and pulses and take it home and decorate your doorstep.  Let this anicent Indian decoration  ushers in wealth and joy into your home  in this season of light. Workshop suitable for age 6+.

Rangoli is an ancient art form originating in the Indian subcontinent, in which symmetrical patterns are created on the floor usually at the entrance of a home during Diwali using materials, such as flowers, coloured sand, rice and pulses, to welcome goddess of wealth and good luck.  It represents happiness, positivity, prosperity and good health for all the  households.
