We debuted the work of two up and coming local artists, Neal Morgan (photographer) and Nisha Nath (creative writer) who, as stranger and friend to Normanton, challenged media representations of the area in capturing brief and beautiful moments in time from an ever changing of cultures, charm and colour.

Exhibition was organised by Surtal Asian Arts and has been supported by Derby University and Derby Community Safety Partnership. The exhibition toured throughout Derby and Derbyshire, from November 2009 to July 2010, and finally found its home at Lister House in Derby.
